What is Servant
Leadership? |
Servant Leadership
is a phrase coined by Robert K. Greenleaf in 1969.
Servant Leadership encompasses the belief that as each
individual grows stronger, the whole grows stronger. The
test of a servant-leader, as described by Robert
Greenleaf is: “Do those served grow as persons? Do they,
while being served, become healthier, wiser, freer, more
autonomous, more likely themselves to become servants?
And, what is the effect on the least privileged in
society? Will they benefit or at least not be further
deprived?”
Educators, industry leaders and sages have embraced the
principles and benefits of Servant Leadership with great
enthusiasm for the past 40 years. We are excited about
sharing such valuable and transformative methods with
our clients! |

Why is it important to
utilize all four parts of the Emergent Leadership
Partnering program? |
|
Based on years of
business experience and formal study, we have identified
these as core areas to be addressed in order to affect
long-term, sustainable change in business situations.
The
Leadership Audit identifies where the
bottlenecks and dysfunctions are within the
organizational leadership structure.
Reframing
training provides executives, team leads and employees
with comprehensive and practical techniques for working
through the everyday issues of communication, team
building, strategic planning
and conflict resolution.
Servant Leadership
training addresses the
core intent and attitude we approach our work from. This
training teaches the benefits of supporting and
developing individuals as a way to strengthen the entire
team. It also approaches business from a win-win
perspective rather than the individual performer stance
commonly used.
The Reciprocal Benefit Portfolios
provide a unique perspective to individuals regarding
the impact and result of their work. The effects of
individual departments are tracked through the company,
into the immediate community and can be followed into
the market as a whole. This rare view offers a tangible
understanding of each person’s significance and
contribution.
When these four components are
combined they address: |

How long does this
program take? |

Portfolios generally require several months to
research and complete. Training programs can be
conducted in half-day, full day or multiple-day
sessions depending on the level of your employee’s
development, number to be trained, and any time
considerations you have. |
|

"No institution can possibly
survive if it needs geniuses or supermen to manage
it.
It must be organized in such a way as to be able to
get along under a leadership composed of average
human beings."
